I'm Back.....

Sorry Everyone, I left this blog for awhile and was blogging under a free listing associated with my website thinking it would be easier to keep up with. Yeah that didn't happen..... So I am back to blogging here because it easier to find on the internet.

Just a little update on what's been going on at the retreat. I have almost completely moved my scrap room from upstairs to the crop room. I now have all my stuff in one place.... Love it...
I have also cleaned up the room, painted the walls, and purchased a full size bed to go in there. Not sure what color bedding I will find to go in there - my initial thoughts are red, purple, or burgandy (my favorite color). I will post pictures when completed....

Well I hope everyone had a great Christmas and got everything they wanted. I was blessed and truly spoiled again as usual.....One of my favorite gifts is the Cameo Silhouette. I have been off work this week and have been playing with it.  While looking on the internet for some SVG files to cut with it I cam across a website called Treasure Box Designs..... Gotta say - they have the cutest files. I have downloaded a couple of files and have created the following double page layouts.

Latest Projects

Okay Peeps - Just wanted to quickly upload some photos of my latest creations before I head off to my sons first middle school football game.

This is a cute little dress I sewed that can be used to hold hair clips or pictures.

Here is a cute purse I made using some Zebra Print paper I had.

Getting Ready for Halloween Photos

Just about finished with my pocket mini for Halloween. Actually, I am finished for now until I get my photos then I will embellish the book further. I promise to post the finished project after Halloween 2011.

A couple of New Projects

Here is Mini Album I created for my friend at Scrapville - The best scrapbook store in the area.

Using the Paper we both love, I made this little 4  by 4 album.

I left it a little plain so you could finish customizing it for yourself.

Thats the most fun anyhow....

BoBunny Zoology Line

This is an Envelope Album I made using the new Zoology Line from BoBunny.

It is a 6 by 8 album with lots of extra inserts for additional pictures and journalling.

I will be teaching this class at Scrapville in Greenville on September 10th, 2011.

2 New Layouts

WOW - haven't been on here since April - I really need to get in the habit of writing on a more regular basis. Sorry about that.  Went to the Great American Scrapbook Convention in Arlington at the beginning of the month. Great fun. It was totally crowded and i had to stand in long lines to purchase stuff but I saw a lot of great items and got a lot of ideas for future projects. I have been super busy at work and taking my son to several football and soccer camps in the evening so I haven't had much time to use my newly purchased items. However, last night I did get a chance to complete a couple of layouts. I had a ton of fun doing them because I have been away from it for a while because I have been doing interactive mini albums. Unfortunately, I haven't been able to finish them completed so I haven't posted pictures yet but I hope to soon. Unitl then enjoy the two following layouts. 

Hello Everyone

Whew - I have been busy since my last post. I have spent some time working with a friend to complete a wedding album. I can't wait for her to finish it and send me some pictures so I can post them. I semi-finished a christmas mini album that holds 48 full size 4x6 photos. I created my very first YouTube video about it and posted in for you all to see. I have also been getting ready for Easter. I am almost finished with an exploding box Easter Basket. I will post photos when completed. Hope all is well with everyone and I look forward to sharing more things with you soon. A New Day

Good Morning All,

This week I am going to attempt to add some photos of projects completed recently. If anyone is interested in learning how to make them please leave me a comment or send me an email to scrapbookhavenretreat@gmail.com. I am also going to try and do a youtube video this weekend for a christmas album I am doing.

Picture is a canvas I completed for my niece. It matches the colors and design of her room.
